Ah how time flies. Today is Laura and I's 1-year anniversary. I made her a bunch of fun crosswords and wordsearches and stuff. I think she liked!
Other than that, I spent most of the day at school working on a programming project with a friend. Good times. Got most of it to work, although my partners did the lion's share of the work. I think on the next project we have I'll be able to pull my weight a little more easily since its in a language I'm more familiar with.
Played some frisbee with Brian, which is always good times. Also spent a couple of hours writing letters to the editor(Citizen, Toronto Star, Waterloo Record) and to CTV, CBC, Global, and the CRTC about the fact that the Green Party is being excluded (again) from the televised leaders debate. You'll all be getting an email about this tomorrow.
I want it to be more summery more soon! But until then check out www.condiriceisangry.com for some serious amusement.

I think Lady Luck has something against me these days! I've *STILL* not managed to win at squash, and the past to games have just been SO close(3 games to 2, 9-7 both times.) I also didn't get an interview for the only coop job that I really wanted. I wrote (atleast what I thought was) a BLAZINGLY good cover letter...like I thought it was a work of art, and alas not even an interview. Then, last night I was playing poker with Arlen and some of the guys...at one point I was up about $20(at which point, had I been at a casino I would have just walked away), and by the end of the night I had been beaten down to -$10. Its not so much the fact that I lost $10....its the fact that I lost it to Arlen! ; )
I watched Pirates of Silicon Valley this morning. Its the story of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. It was actually a really well made movie in my opinion, and even if you weren't/aren't a huge computer geek, I could see you liking it.
Anyways, I've procrastinated on school work up until now, but I think I'd be silly to push it off any further. Midterms are starting next week, and I still haven't opened a book. Time to get cracking!

I haven't posted in a donkey's age, and have had a couple people ask me where my journal is....so I figured I'd atleast throw something up here!
I'm back in school, and am in this weird position of being both busy and not busy at all. So far the actually school side of things has been quite lax, but I've been super busy with non-school stuff(coop, work reports, poker, frisbee, biking, squash, organizing this whitewater rafting trip, engsoc, etc etc). I was even hiking in Frontenac(near Kingston) with Laura on the weekend!
I'm going to boot out a group email sometime in the immediate future with more lovin'!
