Mad props to yonny for actually reading my journal. SOMEBODY loves me!
I feel like a little kid again. I took my new canadian tire bike into the bike center here at school today. Just like a kid in a candy store. They have EVERY tool under the sun, and the guy that was helping me was totally way wicked cool and very informative and helpful. I learned all about fixing deraillers, and totally fixed mine. I also fixed the bike seat so that the boys are a little more comfortable with things. All in the the major mega highlight of my day.
Also of note, I had an appointment for my contact lenses today. Basically just a check up to see if the prescription is still good etc. I have two words for you. op. tometry. Why in gods green earth did I not going into optometry!? I've been to the clinic(its all last year optometry students that run it) about 10 times, and every single solitary time the person looking after me has been a blazing cute girl. No guys. No unattractive girls. Heck, not even any AVERAGE girls. All. hot. girls. all. the. time.

Laura was down on the weekend, which was good fun. I was rather stressed last week from midterms and an apparent failure to land a job through coop. LT and I had some good times, went for an 'adventure walk' through this forest on our way to get groceries, played some cribbage, played some spit(does anyone else remember that game? Its seriously good times), watched Big Fish, bought me a new bike to replace my recently stolen bike(yay canadian tire), went out for some yummy italian food, and cooked up a storm!
The highlight though is that my apparent failure to land a job through coop was just that, apparent. It in fact was a coop bung-up. I guess they made a mistake with the data entry on friday, and got the rankings wrong, and it turns out I actually got an offer to work for Infusion Development in toronto! Its actually the job that my boss from Scotia recommend I look into, so I think it was fate that I landed it! They basically do software for banks, vaguely similar to what I was doing with Financial Fusion, but more focused towards the stock market rather than like retail banking. Their main office is in New York, so maybe I'll get a trip out of the deal!
Hope everyone is living it up, particularly those of you in Euroland(how's the soccer??)and those of you making me proud saving lives out in New Brunswick(or shortly on your way there?)
