UFile
Well, I'm all done my taxes. Laura and I went out about a month ago and bought the actual CD version of UFile (vs. the online version that I've always used before). The reasoning being that if we each filed using the online version, we'd be paying $14.99 each. If you buy the CD you can install it on up to 2 computers and file up to 10 returns for "free", and the CD only cost $19.99. So super savings right?
While doing my taxes I discovered that ANYONE who was a student in 2005(if you are claiming any kind of tuition on your 2005 taxes) can file for free. Probably some/most of you would be able to file for free anyways since you're under the $14k or so "free to file" threshold anyways...but even if you're over that, you just need to punch in the code found on this this page here and you can file for free!
So since laura and I were both students last year, we wasted $20. I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake!!

Oi!
Well, it's certainly been a while.
I wish I could say I've been up to all sorts of terribly cool and fun things. The reality is, I've been working insane numbers of hours - I put in 76 hours last week at work. The project I'm on is getting close to it's deadlines, and we're running into weird problems that are taking crazy amounts of time to fix.
Yesterday was the first day in 3 weeks that I haven't been at work - I spent the day with Murtle! Yes, that's correct! I helped muriel move out of the wig shop place into a beach-house. I think she'll like her new place...very trendy!
Okay, gotta get going...you guessed it, work!
