HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALISON!
Yeehaw! It's Alison's birthday today!
I miss the good ol' days where we actually had birthday parties. And played games. And ate cake. And had loot bags.
I think it was really the loot bags that made it all worthwhile.
I miss Birthday's being a "big thing". It's very hard when everyone is in different cities. I think we should set one day a year aside to be one big collective birthday party - with loot bags.

Somewhere, Steven Boone rejoices
Folks
I never dreamed I would see the day. Steven Boone was right - his kittens really did have puppies. Sorta.
For anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about, Steven Boone was a unique kid in one of our elementary school(like grade 4-5ish) who claimed, in his public speaking speech, that his cats would have puppies because it had eaten dog food.
Today, it becomes official. Steven Boone was right.

Survey Results
Sometimes you have to wonder about the validity/accuracy of surveys. Sometimes you scratch your head when you see the results.
The saying "Different strokes for different folks" seems particularly apt in this situation.
Yahoo News has a story about the results of a recent poll in India of 2500 men 16-25.
Highlights:
- 49% had had sex with a prostitute
- 37% had had a homosexual experience
- 63% expect the woman they marry to be a virgin
- 14% had had sex with a member of their own family

For anyone that's rented a UHaul to move with over the years....
W5: Risky Move. W5 rented 16 uhauls across canada....NONE passed basic provincial safety tests.
Yeehaw. Kinda like the time Arlen and I had rented one and the gas gauze didn't work at all, it was almost like it was tied to the speedometer somehow....so we thought we still had plenty of gas but we'd totally run out and the engine cut out....
