Hit Odot for turkeyfest2004 this weekend. Actually had a surprisingly good time once you look past VIA rail getting me home an hour and a half late on Friday.
Hung out with the fam on Saturday, then hooked up with Roberts and company in the evening. Learned more about fruit flies in that one hour than I've known in my entire life to date. Ahh fruit flies!
Sunday was a bit more action packed. Went out with the family to the Gatineau in the morning. The trees were absolutely incredible! I was surprised by how busy the whole place was...truckloads of cars! I guess its kinda like going to church at Easter or Christmas...its the one weekend of the year that people actually show up.
Then, I can't neglect that Sunday was dinner. I actually MADE a big chunk of our thanksgiving dinner this year which was fun. I think stuffing may be one of the greatest things in the universe.
Sunday night hit Honest Lawyer with Bear, Dick, and Chimon. Played foosball to my heart's content. Can't ask for more. Haven't seen the guys all together in many moons.
So on the whole? Totally worth going to Ottawa.
