Let me tell you...I am SO excited!
Tonight is the Stars concert. I'm going with Ali. I think it should be a really mellow and chill show and I'm pretty frikkin stoked about it!
The weekend was good. Went down to Toronto to hang out with LT. Holy moses it was cold though! We went for an adventure up near St Clair and Spadina Rd, and like...holy hannah I don't know the last time that I was THAT cold!
I'm disappointed that I missed Sara's rockstar boyfriend's show...but really, STARTING at 12:30!? I can't stay up that late! However, I've downloaded some of their songs and am relatively impressed! Good work Sara's Rockstar Boyfriend!
What else what else? I'm hoping to play in a squash tournament this saturday...should be good!
I think that we need to get cooler nicknames for ourselves. Things with more zing, more snap. I think the best nicknames to date have been "Dirty D" and "Daddy D".
What ever happened to the squirrel nut zippers?

Short version of the Squirrel Nut Zippers' story: Tom Maxwell and I have been doing publishing work on and off since 1999. We are the ONLY ex Zippers still working together, which is tragic. We do have a new album, very much in the style of Squirrel Nut Zippers, called "Maxwell/Mosher." It's available online and at iTunes and CDBaby. It has received praise from critics, and new and old Zippers' fans alike. We are now playing shows with a high energy band and will soon begin venturing outside of NC.
Thanks for wondering!
