Serious Technology
I just saw an ad for the Toyota Avalon, the fancy new sedan. The ad's punchline was "Serious Technology" and was all about the fact that the car decides FOR you when the windshield wipers need to be on. In other words, it's smart enough to turn them on when it starts to rain.
Of course, there's some guy driving an avalon, lookin very happy...driving down an empty, but gorgeous country road...windshield wipers going full tilt. Everything is so happy...wouldn't your life be better if your car was smart enough to turn its windshield wipers on for you?
That's when it hit me. Dude driving the car down the road with the smart windshield wipers that are going full tilt? It's not raining out.

That's interesting because this technology has been around for quite a while, but for reason Toyota has only recently decided to implement and advertise it.
