The Sea Inside
I've been quite remiss in terms of my blogging. I've been working insane hours the past month and a bit - like 9am-midnight kind of hours.
I was in Hamilton last weekend visiting simon at his palatial estates. Good times and good eats were had by all. That simon boy is all grown up...he goes his own groceries, and cooks his own meals now. Also, he has a wicked cool tablet pc.
In other news, I watched this movie "The Sea Inside" yesterday. It's a true story about this guy in spain who broke his neck when he was 19 and spent 30 years paralyzed from the neck down before deciding he wanted to commit suicide - but couldn't without help, which was against the law. So he wrote a book, and took the case to courts at all different levels before ultimately having his friends help him. I remember a woman in Canada going through much of the same. Quite an interesting movie.
Not sure if I mentioned it on here, but I also rented "Saint Ralph" the other day, which was a fantastic movie about a kid from Hamilton. Really funny and touching, highly recommend it - especially since it's canadian!
