Halifax was good
The wedding in Halifax was fun last weekend!
The weather was suboptimal...rained almost the whole weekend, but that didn't stop us Roderick's from having fun! My mom/dad/sister/nephew were all there, which was the first time in atleast a year we'd all been in the same place at the same time!
Marcy just recently found out that she is being stationed in Halifax starting next year, so she was looking for houses, which was a little weird.
As always, there was fantastic seafood...I had the best mussel I've ever had...we were at a farmers market, and these mussels had been harvested the night before...it was SO big and juicy and succulent. Yay for fresh food.
Umm...yes. Canada Day...still really hoping to come home, probably tomorrow morning...the train is nutty expensive( > $250 ). This is what happens when you're no longer a student. Laura and I might rent a car....but that option is looking pretty expensive too unfortunately.
In the future I think I need to get alison to buy me tickets at student prices. I may no longer be a student, but I still KNOW students!
