Painting
Oi.
The drama.
So, Laura and I decided we wanted to paint one of the rooms in our new apartment. We settled on the bedroom, since it was small and manageable. After much deliberation, we opted for a nice dark maroon/Burgundy.
I've been in New York for the past few weeks, and so Laura was in charge of getting the paint and supplies so that we were ready to go for today. She had said that the person at the store seemed to have a hard time matching/mixing our paint, but that they said it should turn out okay.
When we opened the can, the paint looked, well...Pink. While we were both a little worried, Laura assured me that paint always dries a few tones darker, and that we should just try it.
Yah, well...It *did* dry darker, that much is true.
The pictures below will tell the rest of my tragic and woeful tale of effemination.
