Isn't It a Shame?

I've been in training the past few weeks for my first ever CN Tower Stair Climb -- Infusion is up on the 11th floor of our building, and I've been heaving and wheezing my way up the stairs most days at lunch. The climb is on October 8th, and if anyone is feeling keen, I'd be glad to accept donations for the United Way -- Infusion will match anything I raise so the contribution counts as twice the bang for buck. Today was election/referendum day - I resisted the urge over the past few weeks to go on lengthy tirades in support of MMP, so count yourselves lucky. Looks like Dalton has roped in another majority, the Greens more than doubled their support up to about 8%, and MMP...well, MMP didn't do so well. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's as much about people not knowing / understanding it, rather than really being big fans of the current system.

What else what else....had a good thanksgiving! Went apple picking with laura, did the whole family thanksgiving with LT, went for a nice hike out near Milton(and managed to get a parking ticket), and to cap things all off I baked my first ever apple pie from scratch!

Had lunch today with Simon...mMmMmMmm INDIAN BUFFET!
