Consulting and the Art of Juggling
Tomorrow is my big day! As some of you know, I've been learning to juggle for the past two or three months, all with the intention of ultimately teaching a juggling class at work!
Currently we're in the middle of the 4 week "Bootcamp" for our 8 new grad hires...and man, is that some SERIOUS stuff. This is the first year I've been significantly involved in planning and teaching the bootcamp - I've given 5 hours of talks so far, and am slotted to do 3 more. Lots of fun...but mostly technical / serious. The one I'm looking forward to the most....juggling!
I'm actually pretty solid now - I can do lots of different 2 ball and 3 ball tricks. The plan is to teach the group how to juggle 3 balls in < 1 hour, while also offering insight and anectodes about consulting (and how consulting is really all about JUGGLING).
Wish me luck!

Greg. Where do you live/work? I teach a juggling class in NYC, so if you’re here, you should come by.

Isn't life in general about juggling, trying to keep your balls in the air and hoping they don't fall and smack you in the damn face?
Rod - thanks for the comment! I work for a software consulting company, Infusion Development (www.infusion.com). We're headquartered in NYC, but I work out of our Canadian office.
