Atleast Stevie Boy is still Stevie Boy
In these tough economic times, and following a near coup-d'etat in November, it seemed like Harper and his CONs were going to come straight with a reality-facing budget (unlike a mere 4 months ago when Harper pulled his "We were like Noah, building the ark, and now we're ready for the flood" quote, when they expected a budget SURPLUS for 2009....maybe a bit too rosy!)
Anyways, everyone will be glad to hear the budget includes some bonus items as effectively eliminating women's rights to pay equity, limiting pay (and in some cases rolling back pay) of federal public servants retroative to 2006(RETROACTIVE?), and loosens rules requiring environmental assessments when damming or dumping near rivers/lakes. Ahh, atleast the one thing you can always count on in good times and in bad is the crookedness of politicians.
